I recently brought Medjool over to Nekomori and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. It was Medjool's first time being groomed, and he is also very skittish. However, Nicole was incredibly professional and patient with my cat throughout the session. She also gave us advise on what to do at home, which was very helpful. I’m not sure why the recent reviews are not as pleasant, but my husband and I definitely have been having a great experience with the staff at Nekomori thus far (3-4 trips) and we have also booked in advance for another session. Juni’s first groomer was Char, then now it’s Nicole. Both groomers and all experiences were positive. Juni is by nature a very reactive cat, and can be quite fidgety but I have personally stayed back one entire session and witnessed the staff handle her well, and with love and care! Subsequently we had the confidence to drop her off and pick her up later. Her haircut is always amazing and she looks soooo cute and neat! Our top priority is safety for Juni (I can compromise on EVERYTHING else - I don’t care if the groomer needs to take their time with her as long as they are grooming her safely and treating her well during the session) and we do feel the groomers who have handled her thus far have done a meticulous job and definitely do the best to their ability (no accidental cuts etc, and grooming is very precise). Do exercise compassion, understanding and patience - everything goes both ways and I am sure in return your cat will be well taken care of. Marcus and Lucinda Juni’s Parents 🤍

It was kitty’s first time at the groomers. The previous groomer that I brought him to couldn’t give him a bath because he was too scared of water. I googled online and saw that there were reviews of other cats getting successfully groomed for the 1st time, and decided to give nekomori a try. I messaged nekomori and asked if they were able to handle 1st timers and their reply reassured me that they were prepared to handle him. Arrived on time for appointment and there were two artisans working on other cats. They will message you one hour before to come and pick up your cat. All in all, it took roughly two hours. There are many cafes nearby to while away the time and wait for the session to be over. Thankful for their patience and gentleness in handling kitty!

I am not sure if my feedback has gone through from the report link. So I am posting here too. Booking was straight forward and automated. Very easy. They are prompt in sending emails and also msgd us through WhatsApp for the reminder. We had a wonderful experience, both as owners and on hehalf of our cat, Casper, just earlier today at Nekomori Salon at Jalan Kayu. Hanna (reception) and Carrie (our assigned Cat groomer) were wonderful. Hanna tended to all of my questions and more. We left the place feeling confident that they'll take care of Casper. Carrie was also very prompt. We opted for Media updates and she has shared the progress through pictures. When we got back, she also explained some issues encountered (furmites) and the next steps we need to do. Which by the way, we were also notified via WhatsApp. We also bought a few items on their shop like treats, cat food, cat shampoo.. i think the price are decent but ofcourse app marketplaces like shopee is cheaper. Overall it was a very wonderful for our first experience. We are looking forward for a repeat service next time. Thanks so much Hanna and Carrie ❤

Today I decided to bring the cats for grooming because they were shedding so bad. Since there was a 20% off weekday promotion for first timers, I decided to try Nekomori, though it is slightly out of the way for me from my usual place. But I am so glad I did. The groomer quickly identified that D had ear mites, and then mites on his body even, and now I understand why he has been scratching his ears so often, even though I clean them twice a week! This was never something that was brought to my attention before previously when I brought the cats for grooming. Additional plus point, I was actually able to view and see how the groomers handle and interacted with the cats and they were so good and gentle with them, that even DD who is usually skittish with strangers, was just so compliant throughout. I am truly thankful I decided to give Nekomori a shot today and they are really passionate and skilled with what they do, and the place looks so clean! Do give a shot. I am glad I did!

I had a pleasant experience at Nekomori grooming my cat, Suki. It was a last minute booking and the team kindly accommodated a slot for me. They were very professional, meticulous and made Suki feel comfortable during grooming. I just adopted Suki and Charlotte gave few recommendations on healthy nutrition for our picky eater. I recommend Nekomori Cat Salon! Brought my ragdoll Tobi there for the first time and while my cat's temperment is generally fearful around strangers, the artisans did a great job in handling him while cleaning and grooming him. All round a friendly and professional service. I like the fact that paw-rents can view the grooming process to set our hearts and minds at ease. Do be prepared to wait up to 4.5 hours on a busy weekend (which we did when we were originally told that it would like 2.5 to 3 hours) but it wasn't a huge deal to us as we dropped Tobi off and went somewhere else to while away the time. Prices are also transparent and the artisan will go through the services that you want for your kitty before actually beginning the process. Hope you guys do well and can open another salon in the West. :p

Would like to thank the dedicated groomers for their patience and skill in handling my recently adopted cat. She was understandably skittish and nervous as she wasn't used to being touched by her previous owners, so the Nekomori team kept the session shorter and opted for a dry bath instead, to minimise stress. They also managed to trim her nails and brush her even when she became fierce halfway. A lot of her rough undercoat was removed, so she felt very soft and neat when she came home. (: She didn't show any signs of stress at the end of the session, and was in fact visibly more relaxed and less afraid than during our car trip to the salon. The grooming salon was bright, clean and quiet. Nice that it's exclusively for cats too. Service was friendly and the explanations for the package were clear. The staff sent me updates by text, since I couldn't wait at the premises due to the pandemic measures.

Nekomori staff are friendly and upfront with grooming costs involved. Appointment was easily booked online with prompt confirmation and reminders from staff on the appointment. The open concept salon has large glass panels which allows owners to watch the grooming process if they wished to. Staff were really gentle and genuine cared for the cats, making it comfortable for pet owners, like me, to leave my cat in their good care for grooming! My timid house cat who usually fears being groomed enjoyed her session thoroughly with Nekomori! 😊

This is my first visit to Nekomori salon since the usual groomer went abroad. The overall service is really good and my cat is really calm after the grooming which is rare because the previous groomer groom dogs too. The Mori Signature package is good and reasonable but the overall charge was pretty high but I think it’s because I’ve not groomed my cat for sometime. I am new to the additional charges for the undercoat removal because my previous groomer do not have such additional charges just a standard charge, the full grooming covers everything.

My cat is the sweetest except when it comes time to be cleaned. I used to send him to another chain groomer but the environment was rather sterile. I really liked that Nekomori has created a stress-free environment just for cats!! Also, the haircut they gave him was incredibly adorable!! Am planning to go back :) - Update: Cat caught ringworm and I suspect it might have been from grooming. I don’t have evidence but he’s a solo indoor cat so I have no idea where else he would have got it from. Suggest owners learn to groom cats themselves if possible to limit exposure to a very troublesome condition like ringworm.

Angel had a great grooming session with Nekomori and came home much cleaner, smoother and whiter! Nekomori kindly waived off the undercoat charges as I was not briefed about it before and they also showed the fur that was groomed off Angel and asked if I would like to keep it. (Apparently some owners do want to keep the leftover fur of their furkids - now that was news to me!) I was also given some tips on brushing at home as I shared my experience with walking Angel outdoors and how that affects her coat. The next day I was also sent photos of Angel in the bath and it was pretty amusing to see her in that state.😆 All in all the service and care rendered was professional and the place is well suited for felines with the groomers' gentle dispositions and big love for cats. Keep up the good work!

Our cat, Loomy, is a timid girl so when we needed to send her for grooming, our priority was for a cat-only salon to reduce stress. We came across a few (surprisingly not many options!) but were concerned to see how they handled aggressive cats and did not want to risk her getting similar treatment in the event she does not like being groomed. We were pleased to see that cats were handled professionally and gently at their place and Loomy was receptive throughout the whole process. While Nekomori is a little far from our place, we have been coming back and do not see the need to explore other options. We trust them 100% and enjoy the communication and service rendered so far.

Brought my newly rescued elderly cat for his very first grooming here. Was worried how he would react since it's his first ever grooming experience. But he seemed calm and everything went well! Great artisans who were knowledgeable and definitely knew what they were doing. They were gentle with my cat and calmed him throughout the grooming session. We have tried both essential and signature before and the results were good. They also helped to point out some fur specks that may be mites/ fleas and gave us suggestions what to look out for! Brought my cat Neko (coincidental name) for a Mori Signature grooming and I was pleasantly surprised with how it all turned out! Not only were the artisans a charm but they were so friendly and lovingly groomed Neko with their kind hearts. My cat is really timid and his first ever grooming session at a home based salon didn’t go too well due to the lack of equipments and ambience that can provide a peaceful experience. Neko lookEd really happy when I picked him up and mummy cat is equally happy too!!! Price is slightly above average but highly recommended for their good service and exceptional skills!! :)

It is Duke's second visit. And we upgraded to the Essential Package. Duke is rather a garang cat. He was adopted and probably had some bad experience with the previous owner. We are working on his behavior. He can be loving when he is more familiar with the Groomers. Thank you Nekomori for being patient with him. He came back more handsome and charming than before 😂. Groomers were professional, service-oriented and caring towards my 2-year old cat. It was his first grooming session in months. He is very fearful of strangers and water but the groomer (Kah Yong) managed to give him a bath, clip his nails, etc. It took about 2.5 hours as they said they gave him time to rest in between, so as to not over stress him (they gave us a heads-up on the expected duration so it was appreciated). Once done with his session, he came home and bounced back quite quickly to his usual self, so think he was not too traumatised by his session! Would recommend. Due to COVID measures, you can't wait in the shop for your pet to be done. They will text you 30 mins before collection time. Nekomori is located along a stretch of shophouse cafes, so several options for you to have a cup of coffee while waiting around.
