There’s really so much to commend about the excellent service of Jimmy and his team. Had brought my damaged SSD (a corrupted and unreadable drive) to their shop during a tense week of attempting to recover some critical data — including a prior job to retrieve said SSD from a spoilt laptop. Jimmy communicated the problem concisely and to the point — and in a matter of hours, those precious data were saved in a new SSD. The quote for the recovery is reasonable. It helps that Jim is a nice and very friendly fella, especially when you have to worry whether your data will ever see the light of day. Kudos also to the good customer service from his team. This is one honest business you can rely on for data recovery.

Highly recommend this repair shop. 1. Jimmy charges reasonably and is very professional in his trade. 2. Shop is well manned so repair was very quick (Provided you get there early) 3. No hard sell tactic even though HDD was initially diagnosed as unreadable. (Original problem was a blown psu) Provided good advice as well. *Shop is hard to find due to simlim's confusing layout. Just turn left after exiting the lift, walk along the railing and turn left again. Walk straight until the end and the shop is on the left.

After my experience today, I would go back to Jimmy and his team for any computer troubles. Team was very friendly, fast, honest, and walked me through the entire process of what they did and what they found and gave great recommendations along the way. Price is very reasonable for the service they gave me. Brought my computer in after my pc randomly blacked out and my Q-LED DRAM turned solid orange. They told me to give them an hour to diagnose the problem, and after I went back, Jimmy took me to the back of his shop to show me exactly what was wrong by swapping out the bad CPU for the good CPU. When putting everything back together, I could tell he was very meticulous about making sure each part is aligned correctly and secure, testing the pc multiple times before he was confident the problem was fixed and could be released. What really made the experience great was Jimmy was very honest when I asked if I should upgrade certain parts. He asked me what I use my pc for and gave his honest suggestions, as well as telling me I don’t need to upgrade other things. 10/10

Everyone is always cautious when dealing with merchants in Sim Lim, but after considering so many good reviews on Google, I decided to give this repair shop a go. Jimmy saved 10 years of my hard work when my external hard disk malfunctioned. I passed him my disk on Friday and he worked on it over the weekend, and i got it back on Monday. 10/10 will recommend him to anyone who needs fixing. But i hope I won't see him again, because if i need to find him, that means I'm facing some computer disaster. No more of that, please. I have little hair as it is.

After couple days, screen turned out to be faulty, and being within their 1 month warranty, they replaced it a 2nd time within 24hrs with no extra charge. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the services provided by Jimmy Tan. I was in Singapore on business and my laptop shutdown after lunch. I was having a mini nervous breakdown since even the “help” desk “service” provided by Microsoft resulted in 2 hours of frustration which yielded nil results. I was contemplating returning to Australia to sort out my computer issues at the Microsoft office in Sydney which would be catastrophic for me since I had urgent business in Singapore. I arrived at the PC repairshop and Jimmy was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I found myself completely assured as I trusted his impeccable professionalism. I was scared that the back up would not retrieve the information and my computer would be wiped with all my files corrupted. My Thinkpad X1 Carbon's keyboard was unresponsive and I visited the shop to have them fixed. Apparently, there was no spare part available, at least in Sim Lim and they took a deposit from me so that they could proceed to order them from verseas and replace it when it arrives. This initial 4 stars is for the owner, Jimmy, who came across as a very enthu, responsive and hands-on boss. You can tell he is a customer centric person and value his customers. Keep it up. I am waiting for the arrival of my new Thinkpad keyboard, hopefully, it is the genuine type that has the IBM/Thinkpad tactile keypad feel. I am keenly awaiting for it and I look fwd to reviewing my ratings soon. So far, my experience has been positive to this point.

Initially i did some installing of new OS to my SSD for upgrading, end up my main ssd unable to boot, i was shock and thought if my important files in my main ssd was lost, i panic and went to The PC Repair shop, and they checked for me. Had to repair a laptop cover, another shop quoted $330 while this shop told me they could do it for $140! So I feel very confident that i'm getting the best prices here, the service is impeccable as well, had a defect with the power button that wasn't there before, went back to the shop and Jimmy and team were very polite about it and had to go through a lot of work to fix it but did it, really professional!!

I would strongly recommend this shop for Mac repair. My Macbook die after I try to change the speaker... so no choice and bring it the expert. Initially they found that my keyboard is damage, if I left it there for repair, when I return to collect my laptop, they told me my speaker also got problem but the replace it for me free! They checked it out and realized that it was very likely hardware related (keyboard).
