Reviews of Classic Yoga
My sister and I went to Kim’s Slow yoga retreat in Bintan’s Residence resort. It was a wonderful journey of 3 days where we practised slow yoga, meditation and exercises that reset our priorities for self-care in the coming months. It was a very precious experience, bringing balance and moments of clarity, warmth and joy to the small intimate group of participants. Kim has a calm voice that guides one to slow down and focus on the small details of the poses, our breath and the state of our mind. It is well worth the longer journey to travel to a lesser known part of Bintan to switch off from the usual high-pace beat of the city. We were full of gratitude that Kim has arranged everything with such delicate attention, finishing the night with a magical bonfire. The resort also pampered us with their impeccable service, food and environment. We agree that a yoga retreat with Kim will be an essential ritual every year, if not more frequent.
My husband and I took up yoga with Kim as our instructor for the past 3 years. We weren't in the best shape (being in our 40s) but with Kim's tutelage, we've become more fit - stronger, our mobility and balance is so much better. Kim remembers our individual strengths and weaknesses, and she adjusts the exercises as and when we are feeling any aches and pain.
She breaks the practice step by step, and somehow combines all of it together and we end up achieving a pose that we never would have thought possible!
Kim's yoga sessions are our calm time, amidst a hectic week. We would encourage anyone to take up yoga, and would definitely recommend Kim!
My mom has been under Kim's personal class for over three years and counting; Kim is an excellent instructor, she is gentle, supportive and focuses on my mom's medical conditions. We have seen a tremendous impact on my mom's well-being and highly recommend attending her classes.
